If You Do Not Match

If you are in the Health Professions Scholarship Program (HPSP) or Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU), or are receiving a Reserve or Guard scholarship, you will focus on your medical studies and receive in-service training.

Agree with any career to go. Start attending your cycles. Most rotations will take place at your school, but remember that you should do at least one rotation at a military hospital in order to audition and interview for a military residency.

Work it into your academic schedule and attend officer training if you haven't already. If you have completed officer training, participate in an annual training period, which may be a research rotation or a school term.
